The Villa
Once you walk through the white gate you are entering an oasis of total privacy. Full with giant bamboo trees, the place gives you the impression that you are in the middle of the jungle. You hear nor see anyone, except the laughter of some children who take their daily bath in the river 30 meters down in the valley. This is truly a paradise for those who want a break from the hectic life: absolute silence and 100% seclusion, yet in walking distance from the artistic and cultural center of Ubud, and a hour’s drive from the magnificent beaches od Sanur and Kuta.
The Villa Purnamasari complex was built in 2004. In 2024 , major refurbishing was done, resulting in a very high standard private holiday complex, blending modern architecture with warm traditional elements. Quality and refined luxury are everywhere .
The design is very cubistic , minimalism the major idea . The main house from where you can enjoy the great overall design, the beautiful view over the pool, the garden and the green valley. The houses in the complex have a remarkable roof style in typical Balinese materials, a rush and hardwood combination which gives the place a unique and warm character. All built-in wardrobes and dressing table, nice teakwood furniture, powerful airco in each room, WIFI, fridge, king-size bed with quality mattress, outside bathroom, shower and a lovely garden , a great place outside for yoga , meditation of just enjoying a nice massage.
The second house , a bit smaller than the main house, next to the fishpond, has queen size bed, built-in wardrobes, teakwood furniture, air co, attached bathroom with shower outside.
For romantic nights, the third house on top of the open dining space, overlooking the pool and the valley : open your windows at the valley-side and listen to the sounds of nature ….spacious room with twin-bed, airco, built-in furniture, special room with unique decoration and a lovely art deco desk, also with attached bathroom.
